‘Jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy’: Netflix releases ‘main’ trailer [watch]

The “primary” trailer for Kanye West’s upcoming documentary jeen-yuhs, which will be broadcast on February 16th, has been posted by Netflix. The directors Clarence “Coodie” Simmons and Chike Ozah directed the film.
Because it examines the rapper’s contentious career, Netflix characterizes Kanye West’s documentary as a “once in a lifetime three-week worldwide event.” According to reports, the documentary was shot over a two-decade period.
Two filmmakers are said to have sold Jeen-yuhs to Netflix for $30 million (R451 million). The documentary is divided into three parts, each of which focuses on a different aspect of the rapper’s career.

“A landmark documentary event presented in three acts from Clarence ‘Coodie’ Simmons and Chike Ozah, jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy is an intimate and revealing portrait of Kanye West’s experience, showcasing both his formative days trying to break through and his life today as a global brand and artist,” reads the synopsis of the documentary.

HIGH PRAISE FOR ‘JEEN-YUHS’
“Filmmakers Coodie and Chike have created an extraordinary film and we’re honoured that they have trusted TIME Studios to produce jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy,” said the film’s producer and TIME Studios president, Ian Orefice.
Kanye is seen with Jay-Z, Pharrell Williams and Kid Cudi in a previously released teaser for the documentary. Twitter users are already excited about the documentary. The teaser also shows Kanye West and legendary rapper Mos Def rapping to their collaboration Two Words off West’s 2004 album, The College Dropout.
