Our Chief Innovation Officer Venkatesh Sai unveiled Ajeet Mini India’s Aatmnirbhar answer to global brands like DJI, Parot, Skydio, Autel, and others at the Bharat Drone Mahotsav 2022 on 27/5/22 at Pragati Maidan to the Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Honourable Minister of Civil Aviation Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia.
At the Bharat Drone Mahotsav 2022, Prime Minister Modi was presented with Ajeet Mini.
Ajeet Mini is built entirely in India, with over 75% of its components made in India, including the critical control and communication electronics at the chip/motherboard level.
This robust tiny Indian Master’s Autopilot (motherboard) is built on Zuppa’s patented “DISSEMINATED PARALLEL CONTROL COMPUTING IN REAL TIME” Computing Architecture. Ajeet is the most secure drone to operate in the country, thanks to the company’s end-to-end control of the technology at the core level of computing, similar to Intel’s I3, I5, or I7 for laptops or Qualcomm’s for mobiles. It is also the only drone in its class that is fully backed up with end-to-end comprehensive technical and service support.
Ajeet Mini responds to India’s need for the most common varieties of drones, which have been illegally brought into the country for the previous 4-5 years. Over the last 4-5 years, an estimated 8 million DJI Chinese drones have been brought into India, with over 1.5 million of those finding their way into the Indian armed forces, posing a severe threat to national security.
This difficulty is solved by Ajeet Mini’s entire visibility in terms of data transmission, as it is completely Aatmnirbhar. Zuppa is collaborating with the Armed Forces to ensure that Strategic Indian Data stays in India.
Zuppa OEG Gen 5 Technologies has launched the Ajeet Mini, the first in a line of sub 2 kg Nano and Micro drones. These will all be “Buy and Fly” drones that can be purchased off the shelf or online. Zuppa Vector, a unique fixed-wing mapping and surveillance drone with VTOL capabilities, is already in development.
