This week, more allegations were leveled against infamous GBV abuser Jaco Swart after he reportedly assaulted another lady in the Western Cape. After footage of his attacks was shared online, the convicted wife-beater went viral this week.

Swart, who also goes by the moniker ‘hooligan,’ escaped incarceration last week after being sentenced to a three-year suspended prison term by a judge. He was also fined R20,000 after the judge ruled that vital video evidence was ‘inadmissible.’

The fury has been felt all around the country. Jaco Swart’s remorseful pleas were cited by the courts as a factor in his avoiding being sentenced to prison – but all of that seems difficult to stomach once a new batch of allegations was leveled against him last weekend.

Another lady has made a claim. She was assaulted by Jaco Swart.
The prosecution’s evidence of a more recent attack was thrown out by the court when he was sentenced on Tuesday. Despite the fact that a woman from Stellenbosch (who will remain nameless) filed a complaint against Jaco Swart earlier this month.
The alleged wife-beater knelt on his ex-shoulders, partner’s tried to suffocate her, and then retaliated against those who tried to intervene:
“Make sure to stay as far away from Jaco Swart as possible. He had his knees on my friend/his ex-girlfriend’s shoulders so she could couldn’t move, one hand on her mouth, and another closing her nose to suffocate her.”
“He hit me in my face, busting my lip open. Please share and spread the news. A criminal case was made against him by the police last night.”
