The federal government mandated on Monday that the 110 unification colleges’ admissions procedures closely abide by the ideals of justice, equity, and morality.
This directive was given by the Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu, to the Federal Government College principals who had gathered in Benin City, the capital of the Edo State, to begin the 2022 admissions process.
Adamu advised the teachers that they should conduct the admission process in accordance with the values of justice, equity, and morality.
The minister stressed in a message to the group of principals in charge of the exercise that every region of the nation needed to feel like they belonged in the admissions process, and that the procedure needed to honor the founding fathers’ vision for unity colleges as centers of academic excellence, role models for states and private schools, and tools for national integration and unity.
