The Ama2000 are reviving the retro aesthetic, reimagining South African fashion, and motivating social media users by posting images of their most recent trend, which was prominent in the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s.

According to Daily Sun, Mzansi’s budding photographers and stylists created the AMA2000 retro style by posting images of young individuals wearing vintage attire on Facebook to amuse social media viewers.
On Monday, July 25, a Twitter user named @Nqamar0825 posted images of children dressed in retro-inspired outfits, which caused the vintage looks to trend there as well.
Mfekaya’s post’s caption reads:
“This new Facebook trend is everything.”
This is the first time that young people have been applauded by their elders, who had previously criticized their fashionable dress code.
Social media fans praised AMA2000’s ‘latest’ retro challenge for bringing back memories from the past.
