This is the terrifying moment a guy tried to do the ‘walk of death’ on a precipice before capturing it on video.
Paul Brown, a Cleveland Browns superfan who has the same name as the team’s founder and first coach, teetered on the brink of death when he attempted to walk up the chalk cliffs at Old Harry Rocks in Swanage, Dorset.
The YouTuber approached the drop wearing just his sneakers and American football uniform when he froze and started to back away from the sheer rock wall.
The internet vlogger’s camera zoomed in on the cliff’s rugged surface and showed the 160-foot plunge on each side.
The podcaster crouched down to get his bearings before carefully turning around and walking back to the mainland.
He could be heard telling his two buddies who were seated behind him and watching him try the spectacular accomplishment, “Okay, I don’t like it.”
Mr. Brown said that the route seemed steeper than it appeared. One Twitter user’s response to the horrifying clip was, “Watching you go over!” accompanied by a moving picture of a terrified guy perspiring excessively.
A verified user tweeted “that’s insane” before someone else posted “be cautious.” Even though I’ve skydived twice, I couldn’t do it.
A lady in her 30s had minor injuries in 2017 after falling from the ledge into the water below.
And in the year 2021, two ‘idiotic’ guys stared over the brink of a 120-foot precipice and then played Russian roulette with their futures.
