Miami firefighter probed for ridiculing on-duty cop’s murder

The fire department of Miami has placed a woke firefighter on administrative leave after he posted an online message mocking the murder of a local police officer.

Cesar ‘Echy’ Echaverry, 29, a five-year member of the Miami-Dade Police Department, was fatally shot in the head while confronting a thief on Monday night and died on Wednesday.

The thief was killed during the gunfight.

Kevin Newcomb made light of Echaverry’s death in a forum on Thursday, joking that he deserved to die because he was likely “against gun control” and unvaccinated.

Newcomb remarked, “Who cares? Another deceased police officer is probably against gun regulation.”

The purpose of police is to enforce the government’s monopoly on violence. They want the entire world to cease when one of theirs falls. The firefighter also mentioned the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, as well as the COVID-19-related deaths of police officers.

“How many idiots whose lifeless remains I had to convey with an honor guard because they were all too foolish to wear masks or be vaccinated,” he remarked.

All police officers do is protect wealthy property owners and the status quo.

The remainder is a farce. “F—- the police!”

Newcomb has been relieved of duty, according to Miami Fire Chief Joseph Zahralban, who stated that the department is aware of the message and is aware of its contents.

“We are aware of a message circulating regarding a written remark issued by one of our members,” Zahralban’s statement stated.

We are currently conducting an investigation into the statements made, and the individual has been removed from duty pending the outcome.

Zahralban stated that Newcomb’s remarks do not reflect the ideals of the department.

“As experts in the field of public safety, police officers and firefighters rely on each other to secure our mutual safety,” he stated.

It is the basis of our professional connection and the source of our mutual respect.

During this terrible time, we continue to stand in solidarity with our law enforcement brothers and sisters, the Echaverry family, and the entire Miami-Dade Police Department.

Echaverry, who was engaged to be married, passed away on Wednesday in the Ryder Trauma Center of Jackson Memorial Hospital.

He was a member of the Robbery Intervention Detail of the Miami-Dade Police Department, a unit that patrols high-crime neighborhoods and frequently encounters dangerous criminals.

According to authorities, Echaverry’s crew saw a white automobile that had been engaged in a previous armed robbery at a petrol station in Dania Beach.

The driver, Horton, attempted to flee but struck two police patrol cars and a civilian vehicle.

Horton exited the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot as officers yelled.
