5,000 Albanian boats arrive in the Channel, raising security concerns

Daily Mail can reveal that more than 5,000 Albanians have entered Britain across the English Channel so far this year, with more than half of Wednesday’s 600 arrivals from the Balkan state.

According to reports, the number of Albanian small boat migrants is rising ‘exponentially,’ and they make up more than sixty percent of some individual boats. All aboard: A social media ad by people traffickers urges would-be migrants to hurry up and take a £5,000 crossing

The influence of Albania on the Channel route increases daily.

The Mail reported earlier this week that more than 4,000 have arrived since the beginning of the year, while the Mail on Sunday claimed earlier this month that during a six-week period during the summer, they comprised four out of 10 arrivals.

Even though Albania, a NATO ally that seeks to join the European Union, has been conflict-free for more than 25 years, the numbers are skyrocketing.

Wednesday saw the crossing of 606 migrants, according to information released by the Ministry of Defense yesterday.

According to sources, “more than half” of them were Albanian.

The Mail can also reveal that Albanian crime lords are transporting ‘cleanskins’ without a criminal record to the United Kingdom using tiny boats in order for them to join organized gangs.

According to insiders, criminal background checks on Channel newcomers are failing to detect linkages between some immigrants and organized crime groups.

In order to repay debts owed to people traffickers, officials believe that migrants with no prior convictions would be dragged into major criminality such as drug gangs, posing a huge risk to the British public.

‘Cleanskins’ is a phrase coined by Northern Ireland’s security forces to describe the recruiting of terrorists without a criminal record by the IRA and Loyalist paramilitaries.

A source stated, “You have a core of crooks that continually circulate through the system.”

‘However, the data currently indicate that the majority of new arrivals are unfamiliar to the system, which is a bit more concerning because we do not know anything about them.

Some of it is due to the fact that Albanians are merely cleanskins.

At least if we know something about an arriving individual, we can hold them.

There has also been a major increase in the number of Albanians entering via alternative means, such as in the back of vehicles as “clandestines.”

A guy who entered the United Kingdom on the back of a truck three months ago was among the 18 individuals repatriated to Tirana yesterday on a Home Office charter jet.

The remaining 17 were offenders who had been sentenced to a total of 56 years in prison, including two who were each sentenced to more than 10 years for Class A narcotics offenses.

Since the beginning of the year, about one thousand Albanians have been deported from the United Kingdom, including 487 criminals.

Priti Patel, the home secretary, stated, “These criminals have breached our laws and our principles, and we will stop at nothing to remove individuals who have no legal right to be here.”

Almost half of inmates in UK immigration detention cells are now Albanian nationals, it was revealed today.

It is believed that the concentration of 600 male Albanians in the facilities has led to “challenging behavior,” including intimidation of staff and other inmates.

Home Office deportations of Albanians from the United Kingdom have decreased.

According to sources, nationals from the Balkan countries arrive completely informed on how to take advantage of the legal system.

The Home Office was able to deport 70 percent of Albanian migrants who landed in the United Kingdom four years ago, but that number has since dropped to 20 percent.

This month it came to light that human traffickers had launched a “summer sale” targeting mostly at Albanians wishing to enter the United Kingdom.

The gangs have lowered their charges to as low as £1,500 per head and recruit young guys in Albania by telling them they can “get wealthy quick” in London.

Even social media videos have been prepared by people traffickers with the promise, “The French will not stop you.” In fact, they will accompany you until you reach the British water boundary.

The Home Office has increased its cooperation with Albanian authorities.

Alastair King-Smith, the British ambassador in Albania, stated, “Cruel criminal gangs frequently persuade young Albanians to travel to the United Kingdom under false pretenses and falsehoods.”
