Kanye West Will Not Be Charged For Allegedly Punching Fan

After a violent argument outside a hotel in Los Angeles, Kanye West is not going to be prosecuted for hitting a fan.

“After a comprehensive and meticulous assessment of all the material, our office is refusing to file based on no reasonable prospect of conviction,” the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office informs us. In other words, the evidence is probably insufficient to support a conviction.

Ye got into a violent altercation in January close to the Soho Warehouse, as we previously reported, according to law enforcement sources. Kanye allegedly shoved and attacked the guy fan after things became so heated.

Misdemeanor battery, which has a maximum prison penalty of 6 months, was the offense that was being examined in this instance.

A video of a furious Kanye that was taken around the time of the alleged attack was sent to us. Kanye shouts, “Did y’all say that or not? Did any of you say that? “Because that’s what just f****** happened.”

He had been spotted out partying earlier that night with his then-girlfriend Julia Fox at Delilah in WeHo. While Ye left the club, Julia remained there.
