The “worst government in modern Australian history,” according to Dan Andrews,

Former prime minister Tony Abbott has accused Daniel Andrews of leading the “worst administration in modern Australian history.”

The most recent Newspoll, which was published in the Australian, indicates the party is speeding towards a third election victory, putting the Victorian Premier on course to become the state’s longest-serving premier.

Despite the enormous difference, Mr. Abbott is certain that the Liberals still have a chance to form a government.

No one gave us a chance in 2010, but we performed really well against the first term because we were clear about what we stood for, he said, according to Sky News.

The Andrews administration was, in actuality, a really terrible government. It has faced ethical difficulties.

He cited the government’s shortcomings in hotel quarantine during the pandemic’s appearance in 2020 as a major sign of their “incompetence.”

According to Mr. Abbott, it was one of the worst projects in recent Australian history.

It is clear that this administration has breached several laws, turning Victoria into a party state.

But in a move that echoes the wave that happened at the federal level, a number of so-called teal candidates are emerging around the state in traditionally held Liberal districts.

When asked whether their presence at the state level might prevent the Liberals from winning, Mr. Abbott clung to the argument Scott Morrison dropped in May: that voting for the teals was a vote for Labor.

The former prime minister said, “A vote for anybody other than your Liberal candidate helps maintain the Andrews administration, which has been really the worst government in Australia’s modern history.”

Despite recent controversy, Mr. Abbott declared his support for Liberal leader Matthew Guy but said he seldom speaks with him.

I used to be a federal politician, therefore the problems sometimes varied somewhat. But I support the party’s chosen leader,” he said.
