Pompeo went on to say that the United States was humiliated by President Joe Biden's bungled exit from Afghanistan

Earlier this month, Pompeo continued teasing a run for president – this time using language indicating he won't wait on Trump

In the interview, Pompeo was referenced the deaths of 13 US service members as the result of an ISIS linked suicide bombing at Kabul airport in August 2021

Pompeo said: 'We are more likely to be attacked like New York City was 20 some years ago, we’re more likely to be attacked from [Afghanistan] today than we were just one year ago'

Since the defeat of Afghanistan, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo stated in a Sunday interview that a 9/11-style attack on the United States is’more plausible’

In reference to the Taliban’s restoration to power, Secretary of State Pompeo stated, “To have had that catastrophe disgrace our country on the international arena made us less safe.”

In the same appearance, Pompeo referred to President Biden’s suggestions for debt reduction as “virtue signaling.”
Numerous individuals speculate that former CIA director Pompeo may announce his campaign for president.

After the humiliating pullout from Afghanistan, Mike Pompeo has warned that the United States is vulnerable to an attack similar to 9/11.

The 58-year-old former secretary of state made his statements during an appearance on the Sunday morning radio program Cats Roundtable.

Former CIA director George Tenet told host John Catsimatidis, “We are more likely to be attacked like New York City was some 20 years ago, and we are more likely to be attacked from Afghanistan today than we were a year ago.”

The United States was embarrassed by President Joe Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, according to Pompeo.

He also stated that the emergence of the Taliban in Afghanistan after the US pullout has encouraged Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Pompeo stated, “We are already one year from what everyone saw with their own eyes: the abandonment of the United States.”

The Afghan civilians were clinging to American aircraft as we retreated from Afghanistan.

He continued, “To have that catastrophe shame our nation on the international scene made us less safe and gave Putin the confidence to begin his aggressive behavior in Ukraine.”

The United States felt embarrassed by President Joe Biden’s botched pullout from Afghanistan, according to Pompeo.

In the conversation, Pompeo mentioned the August 2021 suicide bombing at Kabul airport that resulted in the lives of thirteen American servicemen.

Today, we are more likely to be attacked from Afghanistan than we were a year ago. We are more likely to be attacked from Afghanistan than we were a year ago.

Pompeo was mentioning the August 2021 suicide attack at the Kabul airport that resulted in the deaths of thirteen American service members.

In reference to the recent efforts by the Biden administration to alleviate student debt, Pompeo stated that the Democrats were “virtue signaling to a bunch of people.” Prior to the midterm elections in 2020, he described it as a ‘very straightforward ploy to gain votes’

Pompeo also denounced the notion that the U.S. military was becoming “woke” and advocated for the FBI to remain an independent law enforcement agency that was not subservient to the president.

He stated, “If you have an awakened military and corrupt institutions, you begin to destroy the things that are most important to everyone from New York to California.” It begins to threaten our way of life and imperils our remarkable nation.’

This month, Pompeo continued to hint at a presidential run, this time using language that suggests he won’t wait on Trump.

Pompeo continued to hint at a bid for president earlier this month, this time using language implying he will not wait for Trump.

Pompeo stated during a campaign rally in South Carolina, “We’ll base our decision on whether or not we believe this is the proper place for us to serve.”

“If I come to believe I should be president and that I have something to give the American people, I will run regardless of who else decides to enter the race or not,” he stated.

His remarks came after a new Politico / Morning Consult survey placed Pompeo, who served as Trump’s top diplomat, at zero percent in a field dominated by Trump, with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former Vice President Mike Pence trailing in third and fourth place, respectively.

Following a well-trodden political road, Pompeo stated that his excursions across the country were in support of Republican candidates and not in preparation for a possible return to politics.

The former Kansas lawmaker stated, “I have tremendous plans to ensure that we have a fantastic election in November, and then we’ll see what the Lord sends after that.” My wife and I are contemplating, praying, and determining where to serve next. It is possible that we will decide to run for president. It may not, but we will continue to fight,” he continued.

During an appearance at the Conservative Political Action Conference in February, Pompeo blamed Joe Biden for the Russian invasion of the Ukraine.

In his remarks, Pompeo informed the audience, “I remember too, I remember we were the barbarians, we were the rubes, we had no idea what we were doing.” ‘Now reasonably capable.’

He said, “I say this not with delight, but with grief, because America requires excellent leadership and the world depends on it.”

Pompeo served as Secretary of State under President Donald Trump.

Pompeo was condemned for praising Putin prior to the Russian president’s assault on his sovereign neighbor.

In an interview published on February 18 by the National Interest, Pompeo referred to Putin as “extremely clever” and “quite shrewd.”

He stated, “I view him as an elegantly sophisticated counterpart who is not impulsive and has always done the math.”

Five days later, while flying to Iowa, Pompeo continued to praise Putin while stating that he should be ‘crushed.’

Vladimir Putin is intelligent, shrewd, and capable. In addition to being nasty, he must be crushed,’ Pompeo told The Des Moines Register.

I was taught that it is important to know one’s adversary and enemy. You should not pretend that your adversary is weak,’ Pompeo added.

When an NBC News reporter pointed out that Pompeo had called Putin’shrewd’ and ‘competent’ and that he had ‘enormous respect’ for the Russian leader, Pompeo refused to clarify whether he regretted his words on Friday, prior to attending CPAC.

“Since I was a teenager, I’ve been resisting communism. I will continue to oppose communism,’ Pompeo replied.

Recently, following the killing of novelist Salman Rushdie by a Hezbollah sympathizer in western New York, Iran’s state media threatened Trump and Pompeo that they are the next targets.

The Kayhan daily, whose editor is personally selected by Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, claimed in a Sunday front-page article that following Rushdie, “it is now the time of Trump and Pompeo.”

According to The Daily Telegraph, the editorial claimed, “God has taken his revenge on Rushdie.” The attack on him demonstrates that it would not be impossible to exact similar retribution on Trump and Pompeo, and as a result, their lives are now in greater risk.
