The rest of Britney Spears’ family was not invited to her wedding, according to Jayden James, Britney Spears’ son, therefore he decided not to go.
The eldest of Spears’ two children with Kevin Federline, Jayden James, 15, was awarded full custody in 2008 after the couple’s divorce in 2007.
Jayden and Sean Preston, both 16 years old, choose not to attend Spears’ June nuptials to Sam Asghari. The boys didn’t want to steal the show away from their mother by going, but they were “glad” for the married couple, their father’s attorney said at the time, according to People.
On the other hand, Jayden said in a recent interview with “60 Minutes Australia” on Sunday that he truly felt awkward there since Spears did not invite other members of her family.
The adolescent stated, “I’m genuinely thrilled for them, but she didn’t invite the complete family.” I just don’t see how the scenario could have ended amicably if it had just been Preston and I.
Spears and her family are presently at odds over her lengthy conservatorship, which ended last year. Jamie and Lynne Spears, Britney’s parents, together with Jamie Lynn, Britney’s younger sister, and Bryan, Britney’s elder brother, did not attend the wedding in June. According to Britney, her brother was not invited.
Federline and Spears are at odds after he told the media about the “Toxic” singer’s relationship with her sons.
Jayden said that by placing Britney under a conservatorship, Britney’s father was merely acting in his daughter’s best interests during the “60 Minutes Australia” interview.
Jayden stated, “I believe at initially dad was simply trying to be like any parent. I think everyone was largely disliking him for the conservatorship.” pursue [his] daughter’s desire to become a celebrity by working, attending concerts, and performing, but I believe some people are starting to lose sight of how much dad loves about her.
Federline, who participated in the interview as well, also backed Spears’ father.
I really don’t know how the conservatorship came about, and I don’t know whose decision it was because I wasn’t involved in any of it, he said. “All I know is that your daughter’s family is concerned about her and doing everything they can to support her. That was all I was aware of.”
Federline acknowledged that he “couldn’t get involved” in the conservatorship but added that Jamie Spears “100%” saved Britney when he first placed her under conservatorship.
