Emotional Carrie Johnson watches final No 10 speech

Carrie Johnson embraced and kissed friends, aides, and politicians who lined up in Downing Street to hear Boris’ defiant farewell to the nation. However, she looked to be ‘dragged’ away by her husband as he hastened to see the Queen at Balmoral.

Mrs. Johnson clutched her husband’s hand as he exited the world-famous black door for the final time as Prime Minister, before he praised his own legacy in a goodbye address rushed forward an hour due to a storm warning.

As he appeared on the steps of No10 in front of MPs and allies, the outgoing prime minister put on a brave face about his departure, declaring, “this is it, folks.”

And his wife was evidently upset to be departing, pausing to embrace the dozens of people who applauded them as they headed towards their armored Range Rover with their two children, Wilf and Romy.

Mr. Johnson also shook hands with current and past Cabinet ministers, as well as Jacob Rees-Mogg with one of his sons. But as he attempted to reach his vehicle, Carrie was still saying her goodbyes.

TV viewers of the historic moment noticed that Boris appeared to be pushing her forward, and as he grasped her hand to hurry her ahead, he almost accidentally knocked her into some street furniture.

One person commented, “The manner in which Boris took Carrie away from Downing Street and through the crowd was so bizarre and amusing. She was mere seconds away from colliding with that lamp post; thankfully, she avoided it. Another man claimed that Boris had fled and dragged Carrie behind him, likening him to an ape.

Lord Udny-Lister, Mr. Johnson’s former No. 10 chief of staff, stated over the weekend that Tory MPs would come to regret removing him and that he may be tempted to compete for leader again in the future.
