David A. Arnold, a comedian and Netflix star, has away at the age of 54, his family confirmed.
The Full House author died ‘of natural causes’ at his home just three gigs into his comedy tour.
His family published the following statement to the Los Angeles Times: ‘It is with tremendous sadness that we confirm the untimely demise of our husband, father, brother, and friend, David A. Arnold.
Today, David passed away quietly at his home due to natural causes, as determined by doctors.
Please pray for our family and respect our privacy at this difficult time, as we are all surprised and grieved by this loss.

In his final Instagram post, the comedian shared a video of one of his comedic sketches and said, “I’ll never forget the day my eldest daughter selected between my wife and me who she would send to the nursing home.”
It elicited heartbreaking responses from friends and allies.
The comedian and author launched his career at the Montreal Comedy Festival and starred on Laffapalooza with Jamie Foxx.
Throughout his career, David published two Netflix stand-up specials. He released David A. Arnold: Fat Ballerina in 2019 and It Ain’t For The Weak in July of this year.
He also created and served as showrunner and executive producer for the series That Girl Lay Lay.
In addition to working as a writer and producer on the Fuller House remake, he also worked on Meet The Browns and Tyler Perry’s House of Payne.
Arnold was married to Julie L. Harkness, with whom he had two children: Anna-Grace and Ashlyn.

Bryan Behar, a TV writer and producer, expressed his sadness at learning of David A. Arnold’s loss. He was a valued member of the writing staff for Fuller House, one of the best comedians I’ve ever seen, and an all-around beautiful man.
David was now reaping the rewards of his decades of labor. May his memory remain ever blessed.
The actor and comedian Bobby Lee stated, “I’ve known you for twenty years. A remarkable human and comedian. Heartbroken @DavidAArnold.’
Also paying homage to David was comedian Loni Love, who wrote: ‘My brother is gone… thank you for the jokes, support, and inspiration.. my love and prayers to his wonderful wife Julie and his beautiful girls… we are all heartbroken.’
And actress Yvette Nicole Brown stated, “One of Cleveland’s greatest has left the stage much too early.” 54 is a young age. #RIP. This does not seem plausible.
