In Week 2 of the NFL season, there was plenty of action, including unbelievable comebacks led by the Dolphins and Jets, poor coaching mistakes, and a magical run by one of the league’s most intriguing young quarterbacks.
Take a peek below at the Week 2 winners and losers:
WINNER: Returns
The second week of the NFL season was a chaotic one, with three games having late double-digit comebacks.
The Dolphins scored 28 points in the fourth quarter to overcome a 21-point deficit against the Ravens and grab a 42-38 victory in Baltimore. Late in the game, newly acquired wide receiver Tyreek Hill aided the comeback push by beating the covering for two deep touchdown receptions.

This was the most subdued response of the day.
In Las Vegas, the Raiders surrendered a 23-7 fourth-quarter lead to the Arizona Cardinals, who scored 16 consecutive points to force OT and then won with a scoop-and-score.

In less than 90 seconds, the Cleveland Browns wasted a 13-point lead over the New York Jets. This was the most humiliating loss of the day.
Cleveland Browns are the team with the worst record.
Woweeee, what a dismal performance! Mistakes were made by all parties. Everyone is at fault.
The Browns’ attempt to hand the game over to the Jets commenced late in the fourth quarter. With a touchdown advantage entering the two-minute warning, the Browns were in the red zone and had an opportunity to score again.
To clarify, they were not required to score again. With no timeouts remaining for the Jets, three kneel-downs would end the game. Nick Chubb, though, broke free and found pay dirt.

The Browns were sending the ball back to the Jets when they could have chosen to allow the clock run out and take the victory. However, there is no way that this will not come back to haunt them, right?
In addition, kicker Cade York missed the extra point following the touchdown, resulting in a 30-17 lead for the Browns.
However, that would be irrelevant, correct? The game is effectively over.
The Browns defense then committed a truly awful coverage error.

Mike McDaniel’s first season as a head coach in the NFL is off to a blazing start.
Tua Tagovailoa is performing at his highest level ever. With two touchdowns in the Dolphins’ comeback effort against the Ravens, the addition of superstar receiver Tyreek Hill is already proving profitable. Jaylen Waddle, another speedy player, matched Hill’s two touchdowns with two of his own.

With Waddle and Hill causing so much havoc, the rest of the offense should continue to develop opportunities. The Dolphins appear to have the league’s most formidable tandem of receivers, and McDaniel appears prepared to maximize their potential.
LOSER: Nathaniel Hackett
Nathaniel Hackett, the rookie head coach of the Denver Broncos, appears unprepared for the major leagues.

Hackett mismanaged the clock in Denver’s game against the Seahawks last week, resulting in an embarrassing loss.
This Sunday was worse for the coach in some way. Despite the Broncos’ eventual victory over the Texans, it was a far more difficult contest than it should have been. Denver was penalized twice for delay of game on fourth-and-short because Hackett hesitated before sending the kicking unit out. The delay penalty moved the Broncos out of field-goal range the second time, forcing them to punt.
Fans in Denver were dissatisfied and began yelling out the remaining play clock time in an effort to prevent their team from committing another dumb penalty.

LOSER: Deejay Dallas
The Seattle Seahawks were facing an uphill struggle against the San Francisco 49ers, so head coach Pete Carroll reached into his arsenal of strategies.
Running back DeeJay Dallas received a handoff in the red zone and attempted his first pass of his NFL career by throwing towards the end zone.
It was easily intercepted by the 49ers defense.

Better luck next time.
Cooper Rush, the WINNER
After Dak Prescott suffered a thumb injury last week, the Cowboys were doomed for the remainder of the season. Much though the defense performed adequately in the season opener, the offense was sluggish when Dak was on the field and even more so when Cooper Rush took over.
But on Sunday, in only his second career start, Rush delivered for the Cowboys, accomplishing just enough to propel his team to a 20-17 victory over the Bengals.

It is still unknown how long Prescott will be sidelined, but if Rush can maintain his current level of play, the Cowboys can remain competitive in the interim.

Gross.
WINNER: Kyler Murray
Kyler Murray’s passion for video games makes sense, as no NFL player is closer to becoming a Madden create-a-player come to life.
Observe this.
