Khloé Kardashian once inquired as to how Kim Kardashian could “trust” Pete Davidson.
The 38-year-old reality star is the mother of four-year-old True and a two-month-old son with on/off boyfriend Tristan Thompson. Upon learning that he had also fathered a child with Maralee Nichols, she spoke to her older sister Kim, 41, about how her relationship had deteriorated when they were in such a “good place.”
Khloé said: “We were in the most advantageous position [when he slept with Maralee]. So when our relationship is at its peak, you decide to cheat on me? I have no desire to know what you did when our relationship was at its worst.
“I’m just like, ‘Shame on me,’ almost. Because I had so much hope and faith, I did not do better despite knowing better.”
The sisters were filming for their reality program “The Kardashians” at the time, and Kim reminded Khloé that she had once asked her how she knew she could “trust” her boyfriend. Kim was dating the “Saturday Night Live” actor at the time.
Kim responded on Thursday’s episode of “The Kardashians” “You once asked me a question. You said, ‘How do you trust Pete?’ And I’m like, ‘I just do. Like, that is a sensation.’”
Khloé, whose ex-husband Lamar Odom was also unfaithful during their marriage, responded that trusting someone is “difficult” and that she finds the entire paternity situation “humiliating.”
She stated, “It’s just a lot, and how can one trust? I’m not sure. But what I do know is that it is all terrible and embarrassing. It is painful. I simply have nothing else to offer… I’m numb to all of this s***, so I don’t know if I’m strong.”
