Authorities are looking into an all-male Spanish college after a video of students screaming obscenities at an all-women college went viral.
During the orchestrated abuse, it appears that over 100 male students from Madrid’s Elas Ahuja institution put up their blinds in unison and began yelling and making animal noises.
One man started the nighttime catcalling practice by saying, “Come out of your rabbit burrows, whores. You’re a bunch of nymphomaniacs. I guarantee you’ll all screw up in the bullfight! Ahuja, go!”
“Go, Ahuja!” signaled the raising of the blinds in dozens of flats, displaying the silhouettes of dozens of men. The tenants of the Santa Mónica all-female building next door can be heard howling, chanting, and making animal noises.
The loud cat-calling appeared to linger more than a minute, according to video evidence captured last Sunday.
The video’s release sparked intense condemnation in Spain. According to the BBC, the Catholic college administration criticized the behavior and the students’ “incomprehensible and reprehensible” behaviors.

Politicians chastised the students, with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez calling their actions “macho, illogical, and unjustified,” and calling for a stop to “sexist behavior.”
The prime minister went on to say that it is “particularly distressing” to realize that those responsible for the widespread harassment are young people, and he asks that we not take “steps back.”
According to the BBC, Alberto Nez Feijóo, the chairman of the conservative opposition party, declared, “end with these terrible sexist attitudes.”
The putative student who arranged the event has already been expelled, according to the Spanish news outlet El Pais.
Meanwhile, another questionable video from several years ago, purportedly from the Elas Ahuja residence, has surfaced. According to the BBC, pupils in the video sing “Sieg Heil” and give what appears to be a Nazi salute.
