On Sunday’s episode of “Sister Wives” on TLC, Christine Brown’s departure from Arizona grew closer, but Kody Brown and other family members struggled to accept the fact.
“I’m living in a deluded world where I wish Christine wouldn’t leave,” Kody told cameras in a candid interview in June 2021, reminiscing on his daughter Ysabel’s birthday and graduation party.
In addition, he stated that he had anticipated Ysabel would attend college in Arizona and that he could “keep a quasi-family relationship” with Christine.
“However, Kody is not one to conceal his emotions. He is more likely to display his emotions, and I believe he is quite depressed “Christine revealed in a confessional interview. “And it’s bittersweet. I believe he realizes that he has not spent enough time with Ysabel, whom he adores.”

In an earlier episode of “Sister Spouses,” the former partners informed Kody’s three surviving wives that Christine was leaving Kody and relocating to Utah with their 12-year-old daughter Truely. In addition, they clashed about Kody’s decision not to visit Ysabel at Christine’s residence because the teen had attended school in person.
Kody had stated that Ysabel would “benefit more” from spending her senior year with her pals. However, she will be OK, he added.
Robyn, Kody’s fourth wife, also struggled with Christine’s decision to leave Kody and move away from the family, particularly while all of the Brown parents and children who resided in Utah celebrated Ysabel with great joy.
“Why is this not something to fight for? Why is this not enough to stay for? “She said rhetorically during a solo interview with the cameras.

She continued, “I don’t know, I’m just one of those individuals that continuously hopes that maybe something would light for someone and they’ll say, ‘Oh, this is worth figuring out and hanging around’.”
She stated that she would feel this way when she observed her family celebrating on the holiday. “I think God can perform miracles,” she continued.
Kody, however, appeared less enthusiastic.
In his confessional interview, he stated, “Our message to the world about functional polygamy looks so dysfunctional now.”
Christine and Kody declared publicly in November 2021 that they would end their “spiritual marriage.” They have six children: 12-year-old Truely, 19-year-old Ysabel, 20-year-old Gwendlyn, 23-year-old Paedon, 25-year-old Mykelti, and 26-year-old Aspyn.
“Sister Wives” airs on TLC on Sundays at 10 p.m. ET.
