Change to the Date of the 2022 OAU Post-UTME Screening Exercise
The management of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, wishes to inform the general public, especially prospective students who chose the University as their first choice in the 2022 UTME Exercise and registered for the 2022 Post UTME screening exercise, that the screening exercise has been postponed until November 1, 2022. This will assist certain applicants who are experiencing registration difficulties to complete the registration process.

This page contains the OAU Post-UTME/DE Screening Eligibility and Requirements.
Eligible for screening are candidates who made Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife their First Choice Institution on the 2022/2023 UTME and scored 200 or above.
In addition, candidates must have earned five (5) credit passes, including English Language, in a maximum of two (2) attempts.
Non-participants in the Post-UTME screening process will not be considered for admission.
DE candidates should be aware that, unlike UTME candidates, they will not be subjected to any additional screening examinations beyond the verification of their uploaded credentials.
DE Students must ensure that their transcript is delivered to the DE Admissions Office at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, by the Awarding Institution.
Candidates for OAU PRE-DEGREE and OAU JUPEB are required to register for the 2022/2023 POST UTME.
General OAU Admission Screening Requirements
General Certificate of Education (or equivalent) with Credit passes in at least five courses chosen from a list periodically approved by the Senate, provided that in each case, all five subjects are taken and passed in no more than two sittings.
One of the passes must be in English Language at the ‘O’ level or equivalent.
Except for applicants to the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Law, and the Bachelor of Arts in Education program in the Faculty of Education, one of the credit passes must be a pass in Mathematics at the ‘O’ Level or equivalent.
A pass in the Higher School Certificate’s General Paper is equivalent to a ‘O’ Level credit pass in English Language.
How to Apply for Post-UTME Form at OAU
The registration period for the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (PUTME) screening exercise of 2022 will begin on Thursday, September 8, and end on Sunday, October 16, 2022.
Note that the application screening charge is N2,000.
Step 1: Visit admissions.oauife.edu.ng
Step 2: Enter your Registration Number as the Username and your Last Name as the Password.
Step 3: Complete the biodata form and click next.
Step 4: Obtain an RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) from this website exclusively, and use it to pay online or at any commercial bank.
Step 5: Once payment is accepted, the system will log you out and you will be able to re-login.
The screening will be conducted online. Applicants who submit falsified information or credentials will be automatically excluded.
Beginning on November 1, 2022, candidates will be obliged to participate in the Post-UTME screening on their allowed dates and times.
