As clubbers celebrated Saturday night festivities in the city ahead of Halloween on Monday, Nottingham and Leeds were also crowded with individuals wearing a variety of frightening and not-so-scary costumes.
Numerous thousands of partygoers also came to Newcastle’s streets, where they were joined by pals in a wide variety of group costumes, including eight enormous traffic cones and Scooby-Doo figures.
Although some revelers had to avoid sporadic heavy rains that are expected to last for the remainder of the Halloween weekend, revelers were able to leave their coats at home as they enjoyed the unusually mild weather.
As a result of the clocks changing back at 2 a.m. this morning, several nightclubs remained open later than usual, allowing many partygoers to enjoy an extended night of celebration.
In one of the busiest evenings for many units around the nation, police were out in force to maintain order.
Although events in a few towns became more tumultuous as the night went on and revelers joined in the festivities, most cities throughout the nation remained quiet.
