Zodwa Wabantu bows to Cassper Nyovest

Zodwa Wabantu, a dancer and reality TV personality, recently joined up with Grammy-winning musician Cassper Nyovest and posted a photo to prove it.

Not Zodwa Wabantu. When most individuals meet or see someone they admire, they exchange a warm embrace or handshake. The well-known performer chose to kneel before the leading Mzansi artist.

In certain African traditions, kneeling is considered a sign of respect. In her caption, Wabantu lauded the Artist of the Decade, writing, “Thokoza @casspernyovest Humbleness is the Price When I Don’t Have Talent but I Keep Winning the Game.”

In the photograph, Wabantu wears one of her provocative performance dresses and is adorned with traditional beads.

The celebrity has been public about her spiritual journey and has been writing about it on social media.

A disciple criticized Wabantu for seeming “bare” while wearing the beads. @thuli3307 wrote, “Ngala ulenga izintambo emzimbeni ,ngalo unamba nqunu ,nokugovoza hhay cha ngeke”.

This roughly translates as “The manner in which you hang the ropes on your body, with your bare number, your arm, and your nakedness, no no.”

Wabantu was unfazed by the skeptics’ remarks and informed them that she had been paid R30,000 for the booking.

Good to see that Wabantu is honoring her bookings, especially considering that, according to Pretoria News, a group of promoters are preparing to sue her for missing paid performances.
