Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray was unhappy after his team lost a lead in Sunday’s 25-24 defeat to the Chargers, who took the lead with 15 seconds remaining after converting a two-point conversion.
Murray, who missed the previous two games with a hamstring injury, completed 18-of-29 passes for 191 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception, and rushed for 56 yards and a score.
Murray uttered the F-bomb when questioned about the interception he threw in the second quarter on a fourth-and-1 play, explaining that DeAndre Hopkins was not even the intended receiver.
Actually, that wasn’t for Hop, Murray stated. “From a mathematical standpoint, they and we were essentially doomed.”

It’s been that type of season for the Cardinals, who are now 4-8 overall and 1-6 at home heading into their bye week, three games out of a postseason berth.
Murray delivered a 6-yard touchdown throw to James Conner in the first minute of the fourth quarter, extending the Cardinals’ lead to 24-17.
However, the offensive was unable to maintain momentum to complete the task. Arizona regained possession with 2:19 remaining, but went three-and-out in only 31 seconds. Murray and head coach Kliff Kingsbury both acknowledged the possession following the contest.

Murray stated, “We pretty much got everything we wanted throughout the entire game.” “The execution of our four-minute offensive cost us the game.” Defense, I believe they should not have been placed in that circumstance.”
Hopkins and Marquise Brown, the Cardinals’ top two receiving threats, were on the field together for the first time this season.
“We had our opportunities,” remarked Kingsbury. “I believe that both teams performed well enough to win. They made the last plays, but we were unable to. Our offense recovered the ball twice, but went three-and-out on both occasions, which is unacceptable against a strong opponent.

Arizona’s troubles continue to escalate, raising concerns about a possible offensive disconnect.
In a defeat to the Seahawks earlier this month, Murray and Hopkins’ anger spilled over on the sidelines. Later, the All-Pro wideout stated that the passionate interaction was fuelled by a shared enthusiasm for the game.
