Here are The Post’s experts’ predictions for Sunday’s NFC wild-card game between the Giants and Vikings in Minneapolis:
Ryan Dunleavy: Giants 26, Vikings 23
Revenge is best served cold, and the temperature outside the dome of U.S. Bank Stadium will be roughly 35 degrees. Following Greg Joseph’s game-winning 61-yard field goal on Christmas Eve, Graham Gano (8-for-9 on 50-plus-yard range goals this season) will attempt the game-winning kick as time expires.
O’Connor, Ian: Giants 27, Vikings 23.
A few weeks ago, the Giants and Vikings fought to a draw in Minnesota, thus the Vikings are the ideal first-round opponent. The inexperienced underdogs may face some postseason stage fright early on, but I believe the Giants will recover in time to pull off the upset.
Paul Schwartz: Giants 24, Vikings 20
Is there any doubt that the Giants are a club on the rise? Kirk Cousins has not performed poorly in his prior postseason contests, but his record is 1-3. Daniel Jones enters the postseason on a roll. The Giants can follow in his footsteps.
Serby predicts Giants 27, Vikings 24
The twin faces of the franchise, Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley, are peaking at the proper time for their long-awaited first playoff game, and a healthy, voracious defensive front and coordinator Wink Martindale will not allow Kirk Cousins to play catch with Justin Jefferson this time.
Mike Vaccaro: Vikings 28, Giants 24
What we’ve seen from the Giants all season is not an illusion, but neither are the Vikings: They have the ability to win close games, and they are at home. The numbers would be inverted at MetLife.
