Before being estranged from her rich family, the aristocratic daughter of a former page to the Queen was a’highly gifted’ actress who ‘could have gone very far,’ according to a former classmate.
Constance Marten, Mark Gordon, and their newborn child have been missing for ten days after being spotted on foot exiting the M61 near Bolton on January 5 with their burning vehicle.
After the couple was observed in Harwich Port, Essex, and the East Ham Tube station in Newham, East London, the Metropolitan Police and the Essex Police joined the Greater Manchester Police in their search.
Officers are growing increasingly anxious for the well-being of the woman and child, who have not been examined by medical personnel since the birth.

Ms. Marten and her companion, Mark Gordon, have been missing since the 5th of January, when their vehicle broke down and caught fire on the M61. The couple was observed fleeing the highway on foot with their infant.
Ms. Marten comes from a wealthy landowning family with ties to the Royal Family.
Her grandmother, Mary Anna Marten, was the late Queen Mother’s goddaughter, and her father, Napier Marten, was a page to Queen Elizabeth.
Before she got separated from her family, who had owned the Crichel estate in Dorset, Ms. Marten was a “It” girl in 2008, when she appeared on the Babe of the Month page of the fashion magazine Tatler.
The now-missing mother highlighted her fondness for the Swiss Alps and her charity work in Nepal during the conversation.

On Saturday, January 7, at approximately 11.45 a.m., police published this photograph showing Constance Marten and Mark Gordon in front of East Ham station.
She described cider as “one of my five-a-day” and revealed plans to have a tortoise tattoo on the bottom of her foot, according to The Sunday Times.
Before relocating to London and enrolling at East 15 theater school in Essex, she dabbled in journalism and received accolades for her photography while attending the University of Leeds.
An old acquaintance and classmate of the missing woman told The Sunday Times, ‘She was lovely, full of life, full of generosity, and incredibly gifted.’
She may have reached great heights. She had a great deal of talent.
Former classmates from Ms. Marten’s drama school in Essex, East 15, described her as a “very good actress” who “could have gone far.”
Saturday about 9:00 a.m., Ms. Marten was reportedly sighted covered in a crimson blanket near Harwich Port, Essex.

Mrs. Marten received an OBE in 1980 and was appointed a trustee of the British Museum following a world-traveling archeological career. She passed away in 2010.
She inherited the expansive Crichel House estate from her father, who died in 1940 while serving on active duty in North Africa.
After Napier Marten relinquished his fortune and embarked on a global tour, the 5,000-acre estate was intended to pass to his eldest son Max, Constance’s younger brother.
In 2013, the home was purchased by the American millionaire Richard Chilton.
The course was supposedly paid for with money from a multimillion-pound trust held at C. Hoare & Co, the oldest private bank in the United Kingdom.
The Sunday Times said that the ‘excellent actress’ left the theater school in 2016 after a dispute with her course instructor, the same year she apparently began living with Mark Gordon in Ilford, East London.
Mr. Gordon, who was born in Birmingham and raised in Florida, returned to the United Kingdom in 2010.
Due to her relationship with Gordon, it is believed that Ms. Marten became separated from her family; nonetheless, she is said to still have access to her family’s funds.
According to the couple’s Ilford neighbors, they were “mysterious” and rarely seen in the garden or conversing with others.
According to the source, Marten had a few odd jobs, but Gordon was unemployed.
After being evicted from their Ilford house, the couple relocated to the Coldharbour Estate in southeast London.

Detective Superintendent Lewis Basford, who is conducting the investigation, stated, ‘It has been over a week since Constance and Mark’s car broke down on the M61, and we are growing increasingly worried not only for their well-being but also for the well-being of their newborn child.
