Saturday night, two people were killed and four others were injured in separate shooting incidents in The Bronx and Brooklyn, according to authorities.
At approximately 9:15 p.m., a 30-year-old male was shot in the chest and a 28-year-old guy was wounded in the right shoulder near 1432 E. 46th in Flatlands, according to police.
According to authorities, both victims were privately brought to Mount Sinai Hospital, where the 30-year-old victim was pronounced dead.
The status of the 28-year-old, whom police described as “extremely uncooperative,” is stable.
No arrests have been made.
A 33-year-old guy was shot in the stomach and a 29-year-old man was wounded in the arm just before 10:30 p.m. at 1115 College Avenue at 166th Street near the Mott playground in the Bronx, according to police.
EMS brought both individuals to Lincoln Hospital. The man, who was known to police, succumbed to his injuries and died. The 29-year-health old’s is categorized as stable, according to authorities.
During their investigation, police reportedly discovered two additional shooting victims.
On Sherman Avenue and 157th Street, officers discovered a 30-year-old guy with a gunshot wound to the lower back. He was transported by EMS in stable condition to Lincoln Hospital.
A fourth victim was privately transported to Harlem Hospital after being shot in the lower back. Later, police also connected him to the shooting.
According to the police, all of the victims were uncooperative with investigators.
No arrests were made, according to authorities.
