From New York, it’s… Who is Sharon Stone?
The audience was in for a treat when the actress made an unexpected appearance during Sam Smith’s performance on “Saturday Night Live” on January 21.
Smith performed the album’s title track, “Gloria,” which was introduced by host Aubrey Plaza. The concert began with Smith flanked by a choir while the “Casino” star lounged in the foreground on a blinged-out bed.
Stone spent the majority of the intricate performance lying on the bed and gazing into space as a musical masterpiece unfurled in front of her. At the conclusion, she stood and faced the crowd.
Smith donned a gold sequined cloak and hanging earrings, but Stone opted for gold heels and a black outfit with shimmering details.

Stone starred in the 1999 remake of John Cassavetes’s 1980 film Gloria, directed by Sidney Lumet and titled “Gloria.” The film was a remake of the original, which was released in 1980.
In the film, Stone portrays a woman who has recently been released from prison after covering for her mafia boyfriend and who comes to New York City in order to get the money he promised her.
The vocalist of “Stay With Me” will perform on SNL just days before the release of their new album, “Gloria,” on January 27. This is their third appearance on the comedy program as a musical guest.
According to IMDb, this was not Stone’s first appearance on “SNL”; the model hosted an episode during the show’s 17th season in April 1992. During her hosting stint, legendary grunge-rock band “Pearl Jam” performed.
During her introductory monologue, the “Silver” star smoked a cigarette, sat in a chair, and joked about the “pleasure” she received from working on the show.
The upcoming release of Smith’s fourth studio album, “Gloria,” is described as a significant achievement for them.
“This album is a coming-of-age record for me,” Smith told Refinery29 earlier this month.
The album is available for pre-order at this time.
