Michael Bublé states that he lost his “alter ego” due to his son’s “unthinkable” cancer fight.
In 2016, the singer’s 9-year-old son Noah was diagnosed with hepatoblastoma, a rare form of liver cancer.
After a year of intensive therapy, Noah, who was 3 years old at the time, was finally on the mend and eventually went into remission.
The “Haven’t Met You Yet” hitmaker told Red magazine, “Of course, that had a profound effect on me; it altered my priorities and my perspective on life.”
“For the majority of my career as an entertainer, and especially on stage, I assumed a different identity,” he added.
“I had become the superman I had always desired. Then my wife and I experienced the unimaginable, and I lost my alter ego.”
