A five-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in front of a primary school.
Wednesday around 3 p.m., police and emergency personnel were dispatched to the site near Antonine Primary School in Bonnybridge, Scotland.
The youngster was sent to the hospital by ambulance, and a 26-year-old lady will be reported for a driving violation, according to the police.
The crash occurred on Broomhill Road, which was closed for about an hour.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told MailOnline, “Officers were dispatched to Broomhill Road, Bonnybridge at approximately 3.15 p.m. on January 25, 2023, following a collision between a child pedestrian and a car.”
“Emergency services responded, and an ambulance transported the five-year-old youngster to the hospital. The road was temporarily stopped and reopened at 4:05 p.m.
A 26-year-old woman will be reported for committing a traffic violation.
Unknown is the boy’s present state.
