Saturday morning in downtown Manhattan, a man was shot, according to authorities.
During an argument with another man and his female companion on a northbound N train as it pulled into the Canal Street and Broadway station at 1 a.m., the 34-year-old straphanger was shot in the torso, authorities said.
According to authorities, the victim was sent to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.
The suspect, believed to be a guy in his 30s, and the woman exited the station in an unknown direction, according to police.
Police stated that it is unclear at this moment what caused the argument.
