They realized their body modification fantasy at the expense of their family.
A former banker who covered their body in tattoos and piercings in an attempt to become the “first genderless dragon” in the world is speaking out about the radical bodily alteration.
Tiamat Legion Medusa, 61 years old and originally from Texas, has spent the past decade undertaking an epic transformation into the legendary beast.
Medusa, whose birth name was Richard Hernandez and who now uses they/them pronouns, said in an interview with YouTuber Anthony Padilla that they were a high-flying banker before deciding they could no longer participate in corporate conformity.
Before I lived my life as the weirdo that I am, I was in my late forties. I already had 79 piercings, the majority of which were concealed,” stated Medusa, also known online as Dragon Lady Medusa. I used to be able to remove and reinsert the non-essential teeth daily.
However, Medusa had always desired more noticeable piercings and tattoos, which were inappropriate for the world of finance; so, they resigned their job to pursue their dragon dream.
In the years since, as part of the change, Medusa has tattooed their face, slit their tongue, and implanted $80,000 horns on their forehead.
However, it hasn’t always been plain sailing, as the entertainer stated that he and his wife are alienated from their adult son, who does not comprehend the radical transformation.
The tattooed Texan admitted that his relationship with his son had changed. My kid had already reached 16 when I began my metamorphosis, and he rejected me at that point in my life.
Medusa stated, “My son hasn’t been in my life for seven years. I’m hoping he’s at least watching me on the internet, because the reason I’m so public is for him.”
“My son hasn’t been in my life for seven years, but I’m hoping he’s at least watching me on the internet because he’s the reason I’m out there in such a big way,” they added with a heavy heart.
In the meantime, Medusa is on a quest to prove that it is possible to be both successful and construct an alternative route, and she encourages all corporate employees to seek their real truth.
“It’s incredible to hear and see people who don’t know me assume that I’m a loser, that I’ve never accomplished anything in my life, or that I’m ignorant and probably didn’t graduate from high school,” they said.
