A temporary restraining order has been issued against a man who claims to be related to Keanu Reeves.
TMZ reports that Reeves’ attorney, Matthew Rosengart, filed documents in a Los Angeles court on Tuesday seeking protection for Reeves and his partner, Alexandra Grant, from a man who allegedly “has been harassing them for months.”
The 38-year-old suspect, Bryan Keith Dixon, allegedly committed six instances of trespassing on the actor’s $5.6 million Hollywood Hills property between November 5 and January 20.
According to court documents obtained by the publication, Dixon made touch with the “John Wick” actor each time.
It reached the point where Reeves had to employ a private security team to investigate the suspected invader, who had shared multiple social media posts claiming to be the actor’s blood related.
According to TMZ, in his weird social media posts, Dixon referred to himself as “Jasper Keith Reeves” and stated he wants the actor to be “in charge” of him.
He reportedly stated that he wishes to convey his “personal rights” to the actor, according to the news source.
Reeves refutes the idea that Dixon once left a rucksack carrying a DNA testing kit on the actor’s property in a desperate attempt to establish that they are related.
Recent convictions for violence, resisting arrest, and disorderly behavior in the state of Rhode Island were unearthed by Reeves’ private security team.
It is not the first time that the actor has secured a restraining order against a purported stalker.
Kerry Colen Raus, 50, was ordered to stay away from Reeves in 2014 after she was seen in his home, swimming in his pool and taking a shower in his bathroom.
According to the documents, Raus was placed in a psychiatric hospital.
