Aiden Markram, captain of the Sunrisers Eastern Cape Marquee, has high praise for the English players serving with the Orange Army.
Tom Abell, Brydon Carse, Jordan Cox, Mason Crane, James Fuller, and Adam Rossington are among the many English players that the Sunrisers have acquired.
When asked about the impact of the international players, Markram told Betway, “The group’s energy and banter have been phenomenal.”

Few South African cricketers have maintained Markram’s level of consistency in the Twenty20 format.
He revealed the key to his success: “I suppose it’s putting more emphasis on the process than the result.
“Each game begins at zero, and you cannot take its structure for granted.
“The most important thing is trying to make a difference for the team on the given day.
On occasion, the score might be 30, and on other occasions, it might be higher.
“The ultimate objective is to make an impact for the team and put the team in a good position or a winning position.”
Joining forces for a cause
Markram believes that team chemistry is essential in Twenty20 cricket, which is dominated by game-changing stars.
“It likely boils down to getting everyone to gel as quickly as possible, given that you’re coming together from all over the world.
“Everyone must buy into the concept of having a single objective and moving in the same direction.
“From a point of view of ability, everyone in this competition has exceptional skill, which is why they are participating. It is essential that we are all on the same page.”
