According to authorities, a 15-year-old Mexican teenager driving a sedan with seven undocumented immigrants led Texas police on a high-speed chase until all the suspects escaped.
Dashcam film released by authorities on Saturday depicted the frantic pursuit, which concluded on a muddy road near Mission, Texas, less than a mile from the U.S. border.
The illegal driver minors pushed a Chevrolet to high speeds on highways and local roads in Hidalgo County as troopers pursued, as evidenced by surveillance footage.
After going onto the gravel road, which was surrounded by forested areas, the driver stopped, and eight young guys were observed quickly exiting the vehicle and fleeing in different directions.
According to Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers, officials later apprehended all of the suspects and discovered that seven passengers were in the country illegally.
