This week, Ann Coulter went on a racist rant in which she urged Nikki Haley to “go back to [her] own country” where people “starve” and “worship cows and rats.”
Haley was also called a “bimbo” and a “preposterous creature” by Coulter.
Haley, the former Indian-American governor of South Carolina who declared her candidacy for the Republican nomination for president earlier this week, has not reacted on Coulter’s statements from “The Mark Simone Show.”
After the 2015 mass massacre at a largely black church in Charleston, then-Gov. Haley removed the Confederate flag from the Statehouse grounds in South Carolina.
“This is my country, ma’am,” stated Coulter. Her remarks were referenced by NBC News.
“I am not an American Indian, but I object to the removal of all the monuments.”
South Carolina is where Haley, the daughter of Indian immigrants, was born. Wednesday during her campaign kickoff event, Haley called for a new generation to assume control of the Republican Party.
Haley stated, “I stand before you as the daughter of immigrants, the proud wife of a combat veteran, and the mother of two extraordinary children.”
On Wednesday’s podcast, Coulter, who has a history of making fiery remarks regarding immigrants, did not hold back.
“Her candidacy reminded me that I need to immigrate to India in order to demand that they begin erasing portions of their history,” Coulter told Simone.
“What’s with all the cow worshipping? They are all famished over there. Did you know they have a shrine where rodents are worshipped?”
Haley’s ethnic origin provided fodder for left-leaning detractors who criticized her for serving as UN ambassador during Donald Trump’s presidency.
Trump, who has frequently made contentious remarks regarding immigrants and foreigners, seeks to reclaim the GOP presidential nomination in 2024.
Coulter’s tirade against Haley almost coincided with sexist remarks made by dissatisfied “CNN This Morning” co-host Don Lemon, who infuriated his on-air colleague Poppy Harlow by stating that the 51-year-old former UN ambassador was “past her prime.”
CNN insiders informed The Post on Thursday that Lemon, who was noticeably absent from his co-host position on Friday morning, is now on thin ice as a result of his most recent outburst.
