The US is giving Ukraine $113bn in financial backing in a conflict that shows no sign of ending.
The bill confirms that the US is the world’s largest contributor to the country’s war effort, with the UK and European Union following.
However, Americans are beginning to question where the money is being spent and if the aid is worth the cost, with Republicans warning they will audit the money sent to Ukraine to make sure it has not been wasted.
The majority of the US package is made up of $46.6bn in military equipment and support, with the rest of the aid covering humanitarian and financial support such as food, water and medical supplies.
