Following an alleged wounding in Allenstown overnight, detectives have charged a 47-year-old male.
It is stated that at around 8.30 p.m. on Derby Street, an altercation erupted between two men who knew each other.
A 47-year-old Allenstown man was stabbed once in the stomach and was taken to Rockhampton Hospital, where he is in stable condition.
Police responded and, with the help of the dog squad, found a 47-year-old Sunshine Coast man on a nearby street.
He’s been charged with one count of grievous bodily harm and is appearing in Rockhampton Magistrates Court today (March 7).
