A large blaze broke out at an agricultural building in Llanmadoc, Gower, requiring crews from multiple Swansea stations to respond.
The incident began at approximately 4:09pm and involved a single 40x80m agricultural building used as a wood store.
Firefighters remained on the scene for more than 12 hours, until past midnight, to ensure that the fire was completely extinguished.
Police were also present. According to a spokesperson for Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service, the police were in attendance, and the fire was extinguished, but some areas were left to smoulder overnight.
A re-inspection was scheduled for the following day, March 9th.
