A tragic incident occurred in Birmingham on Saturday, where a 15-year-old girl lost her life after being hit by a bus in Sheaf Lane, Sheldon.
The West Midlands Police (WMP) have confirmed that the bus driver is cooperating with the inquiries into the collision, which happened shortly before 3 pm.
The teenager was taken to the hospital, but unfortunately, she was declared dead soon after arrival.
Pc Gail Arnold, who is part of the WMP’s serious collision investigation unit, expressed her condolences to the girl’s family and promised to provide them with all the necessary support during this distressing time.
The police are working to establish the circumstances surrounding the collision, and they have urged anyone who was in the area at the time, particularly those with dashcam footage, to come forward and assist them with their investigation.
