Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his wife, Carrie, have shared the exciting news that they are expecting their third child in just a few weeks.
This upcoming arrival will mark their first child to be born since Mr Johnson’s departure from Downing Street after losing the confidence of his Conservative Party.
Mrs Johnson, a 35-year-old environmental campaigner and former Tory Party adviser, revealed that they are expecting another boy.
Announcement on Instagram and Feelings of Exhaustion and Anticipation
Taking to Instagram, Mrs Johnson posted about the impending arrival, expressing her exhaustion over the past eight months.
However, she also conveyed the couple’s eagerness to meet their little one.
She mentioned their son, Wilf, who is thrilled about becoming a big brother once again and has been eagerly talking about it.
Their daughter, Romy, on the other hand, may still be unaware of what’s to come, but Mrs Johnson believes she will soon understand.
Family History and Previous Children
Mr and Mrs Johnson welcomed their first child, Wilfred, on April 29, 2020, during the early months of the Covid-19 crisis.
They tied the knot in May 2021 at Westminster Cathedral, and later in the same year, their daughter, Romy, was born on December 9.
Mr Johnson, who is 58 years old, is known to have at least seven children, although he has been evasive when asked about the exact number.
He shares four children with his ex-wife, Marina Wheeler, and had another child in 2009 as a result of an affair with art consultant Helen Macintyre.
Conclusion: A New Chapter Begins for the Johnsons
As the Johnsons prepare to welcome their third child, this moment marks the start of a new chapter in their lives.
With excitement and anticipation, they eagerly await the arrival of their little one, while their son, Wilf, looks forward to being a proud big brother once again.
The Johnson family continues to grow, and their journey unfolds with each new addition.
