Musk has teased the release of explosive Twitter data relating to the now-former head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Dr. Anthony Fauci, as part of what he refers to as the “Fauci Files” this week.
Sunday, the CEO of Twitter posted to his followers, ‘Hope you’re having a wonderful day 1 2023! ‘One thing is certain, it will not be dull.’
Then, Juanita Broaddrick, an 80-year-old former nursing home administrator who previously claimed that former U.S. President Bill Clinton raped her in 1978, responded to Musk’s tweet by stating, ‘I’m waiting…for #FauciFiles.’
Musk answered, indicating that it was just a matter of time until his feud with America’s foremost infectious disease expert will resurface.
Elon Musk has hinted about the publication of explosive ‘Fauci Files’ in this week’s new ‘Twitter Files’ leak as part of his ongoing fight with America’s leading infectious disease expert.
Shortly after the New Year, Musk tweeted, “One thing is certain: it won’t be dull,” implying that his followers could be interested in any confidential information he has on Dr. Anthony Fauci.
Juanita Broaddrick, an 80-year-old former nursing home administrator who allegedly claimed that former U.S. President Bill Clinton raped her in 1978, responded to Musk’s tweet by stating that she is ‘waiting…for #FauciFiles’ before he confirmed the publication date on Sunday.
In December, Dr. Anthony Fauci resigned as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and as President Biden’s primary medical advisor.
The ‘Twitter Files’ is a series of revelations made by journalists recruited by Musk that shed light on current scandals, such as Twitter’s decision to prevent former President Donald Trump from posting after the January 2017 invasion of the Capital.
Twitter has recently disclosed internal employee comments discussing its own suppression of reports concerning Hunter Biden’s personal laptop during the presidential election of 2022.
Both the Trump and Biden administrations utilized Twitter to moderate information during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the most recent admissions revealed by the social media company.
Sunday was not the first time that Musk appeared to launch an internet attack against the 82-year-old Fauci. The Tesla founder’s tweets concerning the former main medical advisor to the president (from 2021 to 2022) appear to be increasing in frequency over time.
Musk alleged on December 29 that numerous Twitter employees have an internal Slack channel titled “Fauci Fan Club.” Then, he stated that Twitter would amend its policy to ‘follow the science, which necessitates reasoned criticism of the science’
The remarks were made in response to Fauci’s indifference for Tesla’s insults in a recent interview, in which he requested the doctor be prosecuted for supposedly creating the epidemic through the use of illegal government research.
Musk claimed last week that numerous former Twitter employees were members of a Slack channel named “Fauci Fan Club” – a reference to the now-retired US infectious disease researcher.
The contentious trials, known as “gain-of-function” research, involve altering viruses to make them more severe or transmissible in the hopes of preventing future mutations and epidemics.
‘Despite these obvious flaws, Twitter nonetheless had an internal Slack channel named ‘Fauci Fan Club,” Musk said, referring to the doctor’s remarks that Musk’s theories should be ignored as’misinformation.’
Musk, who two weeks ago tweeted “My pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci,” then linked to a Newsweek piece headed “Fauci Was “Dishonest” to Congress About Wuhan Lab Research, New Documents Seem to Show.”
The article, however, linked to a September 2021 revelation from The Intercept in which it was revealed that the National Institutes of Health (NIH), which was led at the time by Fauci, provided government grant money to ‘gain-of-function’ research.
Musk then attached a National Review piece from May 2021 that referenced Fauci’s 2012 argument that the benefits of ‘gain-of-function’ exceeded the hazards posed by a global pandemic.
Musk claimed in an accompanying caption that Fauci and his team may have generated the virus by accident, stating: “Gain-of-function” in this context is synonymous with “bioweapon.”
Musk added sarcastically, “The [National Review] article contains a few gems.”
Musk further alleged that Dr. Fauci had misled about the White House’s approval of gain-of-function research, citing a 2012 article in which the 82-year-old was quoted as stating that the benefits of gain-of-function research exceeded the risks posed by a pandemic.
Musk attacked the left’s acceptance of gender identification to his 12.1 million Twitter followers, comparing it to his dispute with Dr. Fauci. The Tesla CEO tweeted on December 12: “My pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci.”
Musk insulted Fauci and labeled him “weird” on Friday, after the New York Times revealed that the physician-scientist and immunologist has fan paintings of himself adorning his home office.
Fauci, who after 54 years as director of the NIH announced he would step down at the end of the year, has been the target of widespread criticism for his handling of the pandemic, with Musk leading the assault.
Initially a beloved figure during his early lockdowns and mask mandates, Fauci has come under special scrutiny for his backing of dubious research while claiming that his team surreptitiously sponsored it throughout the pandemic.
Fauci, who was unknown to most Americans until he became the face of the country’s Covid-19 reaction in 2020, has also angrily refuted suggestions that Covid-19 was leaked from a laboratory, a notion that specialists have been unable to rule out.
Dr. Anthony Fauci resigned as director of the NIAID prior to the new year after 54 years of service.
Musk has been highly loud about his conviction that Fauci lied to Congress and secretly sponsored ‘gain-of-function’ research, potentially killing’millions of people,’ since he took over Twitter in October.
In an interview with the scientific journal Nature, Fauci stated that Musk’s remarks’stir up a lot of hatred in people’ and that he carries armed federal officers with him at all times as a result.
Covid’s beginnings are still shrouded in mystery. In November, White House aides prevented reporters from asking questions about the matter during Fauci’s farewell address.
After a massive 54-year tenure at the NIH, Fauci made his final formal appearance in the briefing room last month.
