For years, the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet), and the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB) have operated without functioning boards, despite statutory requirements.
The newly constituted boards include Mr. Lai Are as the Chairman of NCAA, Captain Fola Akinkuotu as the Chairman of FAAN, Captain Bashir Sodangi as the Chairman of NAMA, Engr. Ezekiel Danboyi Zang as the Chairman of NSIB, and Dr. Imoro Kubor as the Chairman of NiMet.
