A yellow heat warning has been issued in anticipation of an ‘Iberian plume’ making its way towards Britain from Europe.
As this plume drifts over to the UK, temperatures are anticipated to rise significantly, reaching as high as 30C in a matter of days.
Residents and authorities in these areas should remain vigilant and take necessary precautions to cope with the expected high temperatures.
