It has been reported that Senator Clement Annie Okonkwo, who previously represented the Anambra Central Senatorial Zone in Anambra State, passed away in America after battling an undisclosed illness.
Notably, he played a role in persuading his son, Hon. Uchenna Okonkwo, to join the Labour Party and eventually win a seat at the Federal House of Representatives.
