Bwala’s concerns stem from the ongoing detention of the suspended Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emefiele, and the suspended Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa, by the Department of State Services (DSS).
Bwala questioned whether Bawa’s rights had been observed and stressed that if there was an order to detain him, it should have been disclosed to the Nigerian people.
