Confidence Crisis: Ipsos Poll Shows Majority of Brits Doubt Conservative Party’s Ability to Govern Competently

…By Henry George for TDPel Media.

The poll, conducted at the beginning of July, revealed that only 23% of respondents believe the Tories can effectively govern, while a significant 57% expressed their doubts.

Mixed Reception of Individual Policies:

The public appears divided on whether they like Labour’s policies, with 27% expressing support, 28% expressing opposition, and 25% admitting to having limited knowledge about Labour’s policies.

Labour, while facing some skepticism as well, emerges with a more positive perception regarding policies and competence.

These findings underscore the need for the Conservatives to address public perceptions and rebuild their reputation for competence, particularly among their 2019 voters.
