On Saturday, July 29, a significant emergency services operation took place at Newgale Beach, situated on the Pembrokeshire coast in Wales, approximately 10 miles away from Haverfordwest.
The Welsh Ambulance Service was alerted to a “medical emergency” at this location shortly before 9 am.
As a result, multiple rescue teams were deployed, including the Broad Haven and St Davids Coastguard Rescue Team, RNLI lifeboats from Littlehaven and St Davids, and RNLI Newgale North Beach lifeguards.
They reported receiving the call at 8:52 am and dispatching one emergency ambulance and one Cymru High Acuity Response Unit to the scene.
