The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) is set to disburse payments to beneficiaries this week, starting from Wednesday.
The agency has released the payment schedule for August, outlining the specific dates when different grants will be paid to eligible recipients.2. August 3rd: Disability grant (and all associated grants)
3. August 4th: Child support grant (and all associated grants)
Payment Dates for the Entire Financial Year:
1. Be a South African citizen, permanent resident, or refugee.
2. Reside in South Africa.
3. Be aged between 18 and 59 years.
4. Submit a medical/assessment report confirming a permanent, severe disability.
5. Provide a medical assessment not older than 3 months from the application date.
6. Meet the means test requirements along with their spouse.
7. Not be maintained or cared for in a State Institution.
8. Not be receiving another social grant for themselves.
