A yet-to-be-identified man has reportedly jumped into the lagoon in Lagos State.
The incident took place on Tuesday with the man said to have jumped from the Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge.

The spokesman of the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, as well as the Head of Public Education of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Services, Amodu Shakiru, said they received the report of the incident.
According to Mr Shakiru, his office got a distress call at about 2:43 pm and immediately moved to the location of the incident with a view to rescuing the man.
