Devin White, a linebacker with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, is aware of the scouting report on Jameis Winston.
Winston, the former Buccaneers quarterback who is now with the New Orleans Saints, threw three interceptions in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 20-10 loss against Tampa Bay.
Winston turned the ball over on three consecutive possessions in the fourth quarter, leading to two touchdowns and a field goal for the Bucs. With 5:50 remaining in the game, the third and final interception, a pick-six, gave the Bucs a 20-3 lead.
White mentioned Winston’s 2019 season with the Bucs, in which he threw a league-leading 30 interceptions, in a postgame interview. White stated that the Buccaneers merely waited for Winston to make a mistake.
“Everyone knows what Jameis did last season when he left our club… he threw 30 interceptions,” White stated. We just knew he would throw the ball to us.

Winston’s 88 turnovers in five seasons with the Bucs contributed to Tampa Bay’s decision to let the former No. 1 overall choice walk via free agency in 2020. During the same offseason, they obviously replaced him with the best quarterback in history.
Winston had been the Saints’ backup quarterback for the past two seasons, but is currently the starting quarterback.

Winston stated after Sunday’s game that he needed to take better care of the ball.
Winston stated, “Offensively, I must execute better on third down, and I cannot surrender the ball to the other team.”
Overall, Sunday’s game was a disgrace, with six turnovers and only two field goals through three quarters. Tom Brady broke a tablet in anger during an unsuccessful offensive possession. Mike Evans of the Buccaneers and Marshon Lattimore of the Saints were dismissed for fighting.
Winston is out for vengeance against his former squad in Week 13’s game between the two division foes.
