A guy hurled a brick through the window of a Manhattan gay bar on Saturday as people were inside, marking the business’s fourth incident in one week.
A video given to The Post depicts a guy throwing a brick at the Hell’s Kitchen club VERS at 10:00 p.m.
The bar’s owner, David DeParolesa, told The Post that he erected shatterproof glass windows in preparation of probable anti-gay violence. No one was injured during the event.
“When I originally opened the room in July, I considered the glass,” DeParolesa remarked on Sunday. It does crack, but it does not shatter.
DeParolesa stated that this was the fourth time in a week that someone had thrown something at the window of his establishment and described the attacks as “unnerving.
He stated, “It feels like another display of hatred against our community.”
The attack occurred on the same night when a shooter opened fire at an LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado, killing five and injuring 18.
Unknown is the suspect’s identity.

Regarding the New York City attacks, it is unknown if the same individual is responsible for each, but according to DeParolesa, they have all been identical, with a person throwing a brick through the glass.
The NYPD has reacted to each occurrence, but the owner has not yet received any information from them.
DeParolesa stated that the assaults would not prevent him from opening the bar at 5 p.m. VERS was opened earlier this year, and DeParolesa stated that the attacks will not prevent him from opening the bar at 5 p.m. Sunday “like always.”
